Join us as we dive into the first miracle Jesus performs in the Gospel of John.  
At a wedding in Cana, Jesus steps into a moment of embarrassment and quietly reveals God's heart. The phrase 'On the third day' is used in Scripture again and again and is associated with themes of rescue, renewal, and new life. The writer makes clear it is on the third day that Jesus turns water into wine.
 This week we reflect on the God who brings life, who is more concerned about meeting us where we are, not in the extraordinary but at tables. We can transport ourselves into the story; we can sit with the six stone jars, symbols of our effort, our repetition, our lives of longing and watch as Jesus transforms and fills them to the brim with new life.
We consider the servants who obeyed without understanding, who carried the miracle in their hands before they ever saw it with their eyes. And we ask what it means for us to do the same: to fill what He asks us to fill, to trust what we cannot yet see, and to carry His life into the places He sends us.
We turn our attention to Jesus, the One who reveals God’s glory, who pours out His life like wine so that we can receive his life This is a story of transformation, of grace overflowing, and of a Saviour who still meets us in the ordinary.

Is it possible for God’s purposes to stay the same even when everything pushes back? This episode steps straight into the tension between human resistance to the things of God and the immovable purposes of God.
In Acts 6–7 Stephen finds himself in the middle of severe opposition with extreme consequences for his faith and obedience to the purpose of God and instead of turning back he gives a long speech outlining how God's Purpose has always worked through human resistance. Woven through the heart of the human story, from Abraham to Joseph and from Moses all the way to Jesus stephen reveals examples of God's purpose flowing through human opposition to it. 
So what happens when we refuse to move from God’s purpose in the midst of opposition today? What can Stephen teach us about staying faithful when resistance rises? Join us as we explore the pattern Stephen reveals and the hope it offers for today’s church when the Gospel stars resistance in the face.
 

How can something new still carry pieces of the old?
Journey with us this week into Acts 6, where the early church faces a problem—not from persecution or outside pressure, but from within its own community. 
What happens when people who genuinely love Jesus realise they’re still carrying bad habits and hidden attitudes from the past? It’s easy to keep those things hidden in the dark, avoiding the discomfort that comes with naming them. But when those old ways finally surface and are challenged, denial, deflection, and division often feel like the easiest escape. Yet none of these were the responses the church in Acts 6 chose.
Jesus calls his people both then and now to live transformed lives marked by honesty, humility, and a willingness to walk in the light. As we follow him, change is not optional; it’s essential. And while good change builds us, it can also stretch us and reveal the things within us that must be brought into the light and dealt with if we’re to grow.
So what can we learn from the church in Acts 6 and how can we today grow through the pain that comes with change and growth?
 

What does a church look like when its faith is genuinely alive? In this episode, we travel back to Thessalonica and meet a young church that, despite facing ridicule, hostility, persecution and pressure to conform, was growing into something remarkable.
